How We Powered Through COVID-19

COVID-19 is something the world could not have predicted or prepared for, yet, its unexpected shift in health, businesses, and everyday life has been felt by all. Though we have been in a situation of uncertainty, our team has used this time for growth, to recharge ourselves, and to fuel up for an astounding comeback. Project Millennium is here to stay, and here to thrive!

To take on this pandemic with a clear vision, we first began by creating a sense of normalcy and routine for our business. We set up daily Zoom calls to allow our teammates to stay connected, remain actively engaged in their roles, and provided training modules to continue sharpening the saw. Just because we’re working remotely from home, doesn’t mean we can’t put our student mentalities into practice and keep on learning!

Not only did we maintain our team bond through our virtual meetings and training exercises, but we also made it a point to continue our weekly team nights – online, of course! Virtual dinners, internet games, and streaming movies still made for great memories with the crew. It has been incredible to see the dedication and positivity our teammates have conveyed throughout this difficult time. If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s when you have a team like this, truly anything is possible.

Once we ensured our Project Millennium team was feeling happy, healthy, and structured in their “work from home” routine, it was time to begin expanding our circle! We feel fortunate to live in an age where technology is advanced enough to provide us with the opportunity to recruit remotely. That’s right, we implemented digital hiring! We completely reconstructed the entire interview process and are proud to say, though it is a change of pace, it has been a success. We won’t let this temporary situation prevent us from growing. The world doesn’t make our dreams come true, we do.

What’s better for our potential candidates’ first impressions than a new and improved website?! We utilized the additional time we have been given to come up with a plan and rework our online presence. Our updated website fully showcases our company’s mission, vision, services, culture, and beyond.

Even though COVID-19 forced us to make a shift in our day-to-day routine, we adjusted, persisted, and are coming out on the other side stronger than before. Our team maintained our relationships, logged on daily for social connection and business strengthening activities, constructed a digital hiring module, revamped our social media, and more. Overall, Project Millennium learned that your reality is what you make of it, and we are making ours the best as possible.
